Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Buddy Inc. (a sole proprietorship, “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the Buddy Inc. mobile game (the “Game”). Buddy Inc. the game is operated separately from the Buddy AI assistant at hey-buddy.ai, which has its own privacy policy.

The short version: the Game keeps your progress on your own device and doesn’t ask for an account or your personal details. The one thing that collects data is the advertising we run (Google AdMob), described below.

Information the Game collects

Your progress, on your device. Your saved game (levels, upgrades, lives) is stored locally on your device. We don’t upload it, and we don’t require an account, email, or password to play.
Advertising data (Google AdMob). The Game shows optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, Google and its partners may collect your device’s advertising identifier (e.g., Apple’s IDFA or Google’s Advertising ID), device and connection information, and ad-interaction/usage data. This is handled under Google’s advertising policies.

App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS, the Game asks for your permission before allowing tracking for personalized ads. If you decline, you’ll still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. You can change this any time in your device’s Settings.

How the information is used

To run the Game and remember your progress on your device.
To show and measure the rewarded ads that support the Game.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal information. Advertising data is shared with Google AdMob for the purpose of serving and measuring ads, as described above.

Your choices

Ads are optional — the Game is fully playable without watching any.
You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device’s privacy settings.
On iOS, decline App Tracking Transparency to keep ads non-personalized.

Children

The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we’ll address it.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Effective” date above will change when we do.
